No. The vrr helps a lot in that regard as does my g sync/freesync tv. Naughty Dog seems to have tuned this game well so that it has just enough fps for it to properly work with vrr and offer a smooth, minimally latent experience. If this was cod or rocket league I’d probably notice some latency. For sure.
If you can hold off for a sale, even better. I got the remake pre-owned for $55 and for me it was worth it, but for people who are more selective it might not be. I would totally recommend it for you, sure 50$ can be a bit pricey for a remake but it's totally worth it.

Most people on this sub would say yes. On the other sub, they'd say no. I say, give it a shot. If you like the intensity of part 1's combat, you'll definitely like part 2. As for the story, that's up to you to figure out what you feel about it. I will say though, it's worth experiencing for the sheer ambition of it all.
